The department of General Medicine of the hospital renders the services in prevention, diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of various diseases. It is in general the first point of contact whenever a patient visits the hospital. Our general physician conducts a thorough physical examination of the patient and recommends the essential tests and diagnostic procedures to rule out the patient’s problems.
On the basis of the test results and the physical examination noted symptoms the patient’s final diagnosis is made, depending on which line of treatment is defined.
If patient needs to be referred to any other department, then our general physician refers the patient to the concerned department for opinion/treatment.
